Anyone purchase this book yet. It is good reading, but you would think that for $65.00 it would be more accurate.

So far I have found 6 inaccuracies.
The biggest in accuracy was the playoff game between Sinton and Hitchcock.

It is listed as one of the top games ever played, but they have the location where the game was played wrong. They have it being played in El Campo when everyone knows it was played at gobbler Stadium in Cuero.

I guess I will read some more and see what I can find wrong.

We also have 5 state final appearances in 3A.
85,86,87,93,98

4 appearances in the old 3A now 4A. 70,73,74,75.

they ought to have a record for the the most final losses overall regardless of classification. we have the record 6 losses. HE!HE!

Just some FYI...

I could have swore it was played at Cuero. Sinton and a team from the Houston area filled the stadium with over ten thousand people.
I may be wrong too.

I could have swore it was the Sinton and Hitchcock. It was the biggest game ever played in Cuero. I will have to Check the Local Archives.
