they sound bout the same for maybe the first couple of ours and then the martins turn to crap. the elixers hold their sound for alot longer and imo they play alot better, at least on my guitars

I still stand by the EXP Mediums, but I hear those Martin's are good, 3afan...

how is your guitar playing going btw? comfortable yet?

I just put new Dean Markleys on my Strat last week and played for the first time in almost a month, but I've played every day since for at least a half hour or so.

Personally, the Blue Steels seem to give me the best sound and longest life on my electro-acoustic, while the Martins seem to match the pure acoustic best.

anyone know of a really slick strings to play on? i like my d'addario exp's, but i want something that feels like a coated electric guitar string but still has a great acoustic sound..... elixers?
