It started hittin here about an hour ago.... Only reason I know this is bc at 6am mom comes in there and wakes me up and says "get up, I need your help" I am going... wth, I didnt get to sleep till 1 bc Taylor was up and NOT wanting to go to bed... so I get up only to find out we have to move my dads boat into the shop.. My first question is why did he NOT do this when he was home 4 hrs ago... so we are out there pushing this boat in the shop... the wind is blowing like crazy... I am trying to keep the dumb pile of hair we pass off as a dog off of me and I am freezing at this point... 15 minutes later.. we get it in the shop I come back in the house and not 20 seconds after we shut the door it starts pouring... I told my mom I was NOT paying rent this month for having to get up and move a boat! It is gunna feel good later... by 3 pm its supposed to be down to about 52... bring on fall football weater!

i got half of our football field mowed before i was run off by the wind and rain....it blew in as i was on the south enzone mowing and i got 50 yards in.....will wait for tomorrow to do the rest i guess.....off to get a taco now....

Well, in Portland half of the city is without power. Traffic lights are out and we've hand to sand bag some temporary signs because of the wind. We've had one accident, a patio collapse, and some rain. The past 30-45 minutes have been fun.

It is 51° here, sunny and wind blowing between 26 - 35 MPH!!!

If the wind would leave, it would be great!!!!

I was not prepared for this weather!! I was going to wait to get all my sweaters and most of my long sleeves when I go home this weekend.:( Looks like I might have to go to Kohl's today..:D

I am HAPPY for the cold front. WOOHOO!!!!!!! Football weather. :D My luck, it will leave and be 85 with 75% humidity Friday night. :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

We hit the front this morning as we were driving thru Beeville. It was totally nasty. Blew my suv all over the road, rained...YUK

When I got home this evening, the wind had blown my dish over on the ground and messed up the LNB.:( Luckily, we taped it back together and it worked!:)

It is 39 right now, but they are expecting it to get in the low 30s, with a gusty wind...

I definitely dont want to go to class in the morning.:(

It felt good to not have to run the AC all night. The temp in my house was just perfect. :)

I had to get up and turn on the heater in my apt. last night...then because the heater hadn't been turned on in months, it stunk when it started and set off the smoke alarms as it was burning the dust in the vents...

I hate that smell.
