I looked through a large assortment of Polls comparing these two teams. All of them rated Newton above BC except the following: TexasPowerRatings said Bridge City #11 and Newton #19.....Alan Outlook latest, looks like this #1 Sinton #2 Jasper #3Everman #4 Burnet #5 Graham #6 Bridge City #7 Gatesville #8 L. Spring Hill #9 Commerce #10 Ballinger(This is the only other one that did not rate Newton in the top ten)....The 6th annual Texas Best Poll(a ranking by folks voting to express themselves on the best team in Texas), yielded some interesting results: Sinton 14% Gilmer 11% Bridge City 8% Celina 6% Jasper 5% Abilene Wylie 5% Just for your info, 4A is as follows: Vidor 11% Ennis 10% Nederland 7% CC Cal Allen 7% West Orange-Stark 6% Bay City 6%....Nearly all of the Polls that I could find rated Newton as the highest Division II school in any ranking.....Does anyone know the results of the latest AP or Harris Poll?

To D.butter, Occasionally, I still see someone ranking Longview Spring Hill above Newton-I think that is a gross mistake. After District, who do you project as possible opponents for Newton?
