Any pre-week 3 playoff predictions?........Barring something totally unexpected - I think this is how D29 is going to go

Gonzales - Div 1

Cuero - Div 2
Palacios - Div 2

The Cuero vs Gonzales game IN Gonzales should be a great one -

The Cuero vs Gonzales game IN Gonzales should be a great one -

with Gonzo having a good team this year, playing them in Gonzales is scary... there's something about that place... I don't like it...

in '98 we went into Gonzales with two losses and they beat us 22-21, they were either last or second to last in district that year and we went to state...

I wanna go to this game just to hear their fight song... their fight song at THEIR house is just freakin' awesome...

Will be an awesome game...should be fairly close game and not anyone blowing the other out...may even come down to the wire...it is on Apache land, you know... :thinking:

that place is scary... it's like they (Gonzo) feed off of their home turf and the fact they're playing Cuero... there's no track, it's like you're in the game... I get goosebumps at Cuero/Gonzales games, esspecially in Gonzales...

seems like Gonzales couldn't stop the Sharks running game, Cuero will take this one more easily that some may think

The apaches are more finesse and wont wanna play smashmouth run with the gobblers.

give Solis 11 more carries vs Cuero and he would have had the same amount of yardage as he had vs Gonzo... The good news for the apaches is that Palacios had over 170 yards passing against Cuero.. They had 0 vs Gonzo... Several ways to look at this game... Hope it will be a good one!!!

The reason Palacios had 0 passing yards against the Apaches is bc their secondary defense is awesome!!!
