Looks good to me...but then again..you could have listed Godley and Venus 1 and 2 and I wouldn't care. Thats why I like a playoff system....it kinda removes the guesswork! I'm just glad Sinton and Jasper look like a likely Div. 1 matchup... that should be a barn burner!!!

looks good to me Old Card. I like the fact that my Eagles are in the top ten. I think BH atleast deserves a top 20 rating. BH has only lost two games one from HF in the rain and one from an undefeated 4A Dickenson team. BH should have showed all of the pollsters that they have a well rounded team after last weeks 4 TD win over a good undefeated Coldsprings team.

To Mr. San Antonio, That's nothing, I use to call them "Barber's Hump"; nevertheless, I have seen them play two full games and watched them in films and feel that they just may be a most neglected team by the DFW visionaries. How many games have you seen them play?.......Marlin has a good little team, but Newton will swamp them in the playoffs!

Both you and the region 3 top ten have mexia overrated. Gatesville is 10 points better than mexia. But your poll is as good as any. My cen-tex 3-a poll 1 Marlin 2 Gatesville 3 Cameron 4 Mexia 5 China Spring 6 Fairfield 7 Hillsboro 8 La Vega 9 Robinson 10 West and Rockdale. I know west beat hillsboro,and robinson beat mexia. If these teams played at a neutral site hillsboro and mexia would win.

Polls don't mean anything...come playoff time, we will see who the real top 10 are.

Polls are good for exactly this, discussion. They mean didly squat. No one can really rate teams on a state wide basis. Regional maybe, but that's it. Anyone can pick the top two or three, but beyond that it is pure speculation. Different schedules, injuries, grades too many reasons to list really to take any poll real serious. The playoffs will decide. But you have to admit it does add a little heat to the season.

It is kinda fun to see your team recognized, but I agree polls do not mean a lot. Last year Commerce had two losses,like this year, and were moved rightfully so down the poll. (not as far as Old Card's poll though) :) It turned out ok for us. It is all done on the field. Two more weeks of good football will decide a lot. And then on to the playoffs. Then it is going to get even more exciting. Good luck to all.

Taking Old Cards poll......how many of these teams from Region 3 and 4 are likely to go Div. 1. I'm not totally familar wih them all but to me it looks like at least Jasper Sinton and Burnet all have to fight their way out of that area...any others likely for d1?

ok it pains me to see kennedale so high and everman so low yes kennedale deserves to be that high but everman does to. they palyed a tough game and lost mostly due to there own undoing. i think kennedale should be number one with everman a close close second followed by sinton jasper and burnet toi round out the top five
