Tonight in District 30AAA in the big showdown Sinton beat West Oso 3 - 0 and have cinched District with a perfect 9 - 0 record with one game to play. West Oso will most likely get second as they now have a 7 - 2 record with one game to play.

In other District 30AAA games it was Mathis over Ingleside 3 - 1 and Aransas Pass over Orange Grove 3 -1. Sinton has cinched district and has one match left with Ingleside in Sinton on Tuesday and West Oso has cinched second place and plays Orange Grove while Aransas Pass plays Mathis in Mathis (I think). The Aransas Pass and Mathis match is significant because AP is at 5 - 4 while Mathis is at 4 - 5. If AP wins then they get third place outright. If Mathis wins then they are tied for third at 5 - 4 each and would no doubt play an extra game to see who gets the third place. Aransas Pass beat Mathis earlier in the year.

Other District results are in 31AAA Falfurrias beat Zapata 3 - 1. Falfurrias has a 6 - 1 district record while Zapata has a 3 - 4 district record.

I'm pretty sure our girls won last night against Stafford so they pretty much secured 3rd...
