Record crowd in WF

LSC record crowd of 23,276 :: Midwestern St. @ West Texa A&M, Oct 6

Actually, this is from the 2006 game in Canyon at Kinnebrough Stadium. It was WT's homecoming. The 2007 game in WF did draw a large crowd but it was only around 17,000 or so. Memorial in WF only seats 15k in the stands but another 10 to 15 k can fit including standing room and the berms around the end zones. The big give-away on this is that in Wichita Falls there is a big hedge/sculture thingy that reads WFISD on the berm of the north end zone.

This is the 2007 HC game between ENMU and WTAMU, I think the attendance was 23,276 this year, it was really cool to see a crowd this big.:eek:

yea this is the crowd from our homecoming game this past weekend vs ENMU. at the beginning of the game they had the crowd on one side start with "go" and the other side with "buffs". it sounded incredible, guarantee there is nothing else like it in div II, and twice in 3 years wt has set a record.

There's one just as big this weekend at Shotwell Stadium in Abilene between West Tx A&M and ACU.

And the dressing room is on the south end. Played and dressed many times there in the mid 70's.
