Cowboys scored on the opening onside attempt by Philly. That has got to be a record for fastest score in the history of the NFL. I hope the Cowboys can hold on to the lead. Oops, Eagles just took the lead! Come on Cowboys!!!!!!!!

wow...the cowboys actually looked like a professional football team...I know...and it's about time. I was afraid they'd have to secede the NFL and join the Southland Conference. It's good to see though. We Cowboys fans have suffered 8 years and that's way too long. :D

What I don't understand is how you can be a nOKay fan and a Cowboy fan? You and 2k3 must be really confused. LOL
On ESPN tonight they said that the 7 points in 3 seconds was the fastest since clocks were mounted in the endzones(1970). That's a record, and a good one to have.
I agree Wbulldogs, we have suffered enough...

This guy ought to be on the world track team!!! How can you run 40 yards in 3 seconds??? Did the clock not start when he touched the ball? Most speedsters run a good 40 yards in 4.1 or 4.2 seconds.

It may be a record but it is a tainted one. The Cowboys got the ball at the 37 and the clock did not start until the man with the ball reached the 20 yard line. He caught it, escaped from the pack and ran 17 yards before the clock started. In reality it was closer to 15 seconds maybe more.

The clock doesn't officially start until the receiver touches the ball. It should have taking 5-7 seconds, period. Cameronbystander must be a Texan fan. Next thing your gonna tell me is that you like picante sauce from New York or believe in 'ornamental' chiles. LOL

Phil C

Of course it isn't tainted and the score keeper was correct. He got the ball and zoomed to the playoffs. In excitement sometimes people get extra strenth and speed and that was the case here. He zoomed to the endzone. He has the record and it is well deserved.

I guess that "The Boys" are for real this year. It gladens my heart to hear all the sports commentators around the Houston area give credit where credit is due. Don't get me wrong. I like the Texans fine, but they're not "AMERICA'S TEAM"!!! :D :D :D

crzyjournalist03
10-14-2003, 11:23 AM
And a 5-1 record is assuredly around the corner. With Big Bill here, he keeps the Cowboys from losing the easy ones. Who would have ever thought that we'd match our win totals from the previous three years by the third game in October???

JasperDog94
10-14-2003, 11:31 AM
I'll say 5-1 when the clock hits 00:00 at the end of the 4th quarter next week and the Cowboys have more point on the board. Not until then. Anything can happen in the NFL.
