Sammy Salas is out for the remainder of his high school career due to a knee injury. This year he had 33 carries for 368 yards, 11.15 yards per carry. Sammy, you will be missed by everyone who has had the pleasure of watching you play.

I really hate to hear stuff like this. Shouldn't happen to your worst enemy, let alone a high school kid. Here's praying for his complete recovery!

Tough break PPHS. I wish the lad a speedy recovery and a bright future.

Tough break for that kid. Best of luck to you Sammy, I wish you well. We had the same thing happen to one our defensive backs except it happened in a scrimmage. Best of luck to you also JP Sonnenberg!

I'm truly sorry to hear this, PPHS. I hope he makes a speedy recovery, and I wish PPoint all the best for the rest of this season.
