When was the last time The Hornets have been in The Top Ten...

In the 80's or 90's???

no offense, but never in my lifetime that I can remember, and I am not a youngster to most.

I will say that caldwell has deserved this. This is probably the most exciting year they have had in a while. They should have LG beat this week as well.

Back in the mid 90's Caldwell was a powerhouse....good to see they finally got their swagger back

Class 3A

1. Giddings (11) 6-0 187 1
2. Liberty Hill (4) 6-0 173 2
3. Celina (3) 6-0 164 3
4. Gilmer (1) 6-0 143 4
5. Royse City (1) 6-0 128 5

Closest to a power house that I can give caldwell was in maybe 94 like you have said, but they were not a top 10 team (I DON'T THINK). That was Mike Stone's days right. He was a tough runner by the way. Definetely caldwell was MORE competitive back then, but not sure if they were ranked in top 10.

That would have been close to when he was in HS. He had a younger brother that was big, but not as good.

Chris was a freshman in 94. They didn't have much talent to go with chris during hi jr. & sr. year. Actually he lined up at running back in short yardage situations. they did have a descent qb his name was adam or something. Good guy.

It's been 26 years since Caldwell had an AP ranking in the top ten. We've gotten into the teens a couple of times.

Now you are talking caldwell's language. I don't know how they are this year honestly, but volleyball is something they have been able to play over the years.

Say, I just thought I would throw out there that this game isn't till next week. It would appear that you didn't know that. And by the way, I can't tell if you meant to be derogatory in your last statement or not; but none of our buffalos have any boys or girls of their own yet. If they did, I would sure hope you wouldn't wish for the hornets to take it to them. :)

I don't know if I would believe a guy named jeb, just kidding. Promises like that are tough when he has absolutely zero control over the outcome or the situation.;)

No, I think it's Jorvorskie. ;)

Sorry.......I tried not to go there, I promise.

buff4ever

The difference in these two situations is at least javorskie had some control over the outcome. Obviously not even much in his situation, but jeb has ZERO.

But I appreciate your humor LHPM.
