Right now the standings are after 7 matches with 3 left
1. Sinton at 7 - 0
2. West Oso at 6 - 1
3. Aransas Pass at 4 - 3
4. Mathis at 2 - 5
5. tie with Ingleside at 1 - 6 and Orange Grove at 1 - 6.
They key matchups will be Sinton on the road twice this week at Aransas Pass on Tuesday night (10-16-07) at 7 P.M. and at West Oso on Friday (10-10-07) at 4:30 P.M. (Sinton plays West Oso in football there that night at 7:30 P.M.)
As of right now Sinton and West Oso have cinched playoff spots. Mathematically everyone has a shot at the playoffs but Sinton, West Oso, and Aransas Pass have the district championship possibilities. This week is the big showdown.
Even though Sinton has already beaten the two teams earlier the matches were very close and competitive. Plus now Sinton has to play on the road.
No team in the district can be taken lightly because anything can happen. By Friday night we will have answers.
