but this year's Pats team could play agianst some of the Dynasties of the past

Still dont think they could beat the 90's Boys or 80's 49ers..But I do think they could compete

I still think the Colts can..and there will be a couple of games this year that they dont click just right

Colts have the guns to make it happen....then you always have that "off game" that could sneak up on the Pats. I think the Colts/Pats matchup is the "Super Bowl" if you ask me. They are heads above everyone else.

I like the Pats about as much as your average New Yorker, but I think they could compete with the Boys of the early- to mid-90's. This is the best football team since that Dallas/San Fran era.

They might not have the running game that Dallas did (possibly the best OL of all time, along with the Packers of the early- to mid-60's), but there's no way you can compare the passing games. Brady's playing out of his mind, and as good as Aikman was, he was never this good. And that receiving corps, wow! Irvin, Harper, Novacek, and company just weren't as good as Moss, Watson, Stallworth, Welker, etc.

IMO, they could play with any team of any era except maybe the Browns back in the 50's. The only NFL team that can beat the Patriots is the Patriots. The way they're playing right now, they could bring their B- game and beat anyone who's on their A game.
