FERRIS--Crandall's defense shut out Ferris (4-2, 0-1) in the second half, limiting them to a -3 yards total offense, giving Crandall (2-4, 1-0) a 20-14 win to open District 13-3A play.
Ferris running back Tristan Green took the opening kickoff 90 yards for a touchdown. Green added a second touchdown giving Ferris a 14-0 lead after the first quarter.
Crandall tied the game at 14 to end the first half. Tanner Dykema added two third quarter field goals to secure the win.
