It is as wild as college football in this district. I still think Columbus is going to come out on top. WHen they get their players back they'll be tough. WC second and third is up for grabs. Needville will have trouble with anyone with speed. Sealy looks like it may be the surprise for third.

the way Sealy and Royal are playing, they could slip in the playoffs...

Columbus is supposed to be w/o Carter for at least another two games. If Royal was able to put 40 on the Cards and shut down their offense I have to think Columbia can do the same. If Carter isn't back by Wharton then Columbus will probably have three losses headed into Nov. 9 at Sweeny.

Columbia and Sealy on November 2 should decide district. Sealy has a good schedule and should be able to handle Sweeny on homecoming this week and looks good enough to beat Royal next week. Sealy hasn't had much of a home field advantage in recent years but if the Tigers are 4-1 in district heading into the Columbia game I would bet that could change in a hurry.

As far as the playoff race goes I would have to say Columbia and Sealy are going to be in when its all said and done. Even if Sealy loses to Columbia they finish with Stafford which should be an easy win. The third spot is the tricky one. Royal likely drops off the map in the next two weeks. Wharton will play tough but playing at Sweeny and Columbus is a killer. That leaves Needville, Columbus and Sweeny to fight it out. All three could go into week 10 with three losses meaning Needville v Wharton and Sweeny v Columbus are huge games.

Yea seeing as how carter is not supposed to play this week either, im thinking we have a real legut shot at taking this game

If we go to 4-0 and they are 2-2

then we got it sowed up pretty well....

They did just pimp slap Columbus for 40 pnts & 580 yds of offense. But we know its the officials fault Columbus lost though....

Do we have a turnover differential in this game?

I would bet Columbus turned the ball oevr about 4-5 times and give em back half their offense and well see whos doing the pimp slappin

Actually it was Royal that had 4 turnovers...
Columbus had 1 fumble & 2 ints, one that came in the last minutes of the game when it was already over...
