A song for you to remember sung by the great Ricky Nelson. It will be very nice when our favorite Lady Panther's boyfriend inadvertently brings her home late from a date sometime. :)

When I saw the thread title I immediately thought there would be a headline of him getting popped for Mary Jane possession again.

I'm just sorry they didn't have the great version where Willie sang this song with Julio Iglesias. It is great!

This is the great patriotic song sung in the 1953 movie Stalag 17. Please bear in mind that the word gay back then meant happy. That is Peter Graves who was to be very famous in the tv series Mission Impossible at the chess set and changing the light cord. William Holden is the one on the bed that realizes that the change of the light cord is significant.

This is per Audie Murphy a WW2 hero and great movie actor especially westerns. This clip is from the 1959 movie No Name on the Bullet. In this Audie Murphy may have been the first good/bad guy ever and he is fantastic in this role which was offbeat for him. He plays a hired gunman but he does it legal in that he gets his intended target to draw first against him and he kills the target in self defense. In this town many of the people have guilty secrets which is why they go against him. The physician (Charles Drake) is the good guy and he and his father are against mob justice but go along to try to prevent violence. They fail but watch how Murphy brilliantly handles this mob. A great scene indeed.

This is one of Selena's songs in English. She was working on including English songs along with her Tejano music before she passed away.

Thank you for the correction. I tried to edit it but I don't know if it will let me do it in the title. My apologies. :( Especially to all her fans on 3A downlow. I was so excited to get the songs posted I made a spelling error in the title. Please accept my apologies for my error. :(

Chris wrote that song and a member of his band sang it.... it's a very sad song.

Most of you probably know about the great 1960 movie The Magnificent Seven that starred Yul Brynner, Eli Wallach, Steve McQueen, James Coburn, and Robert Vaughn but few may have got to have seen the trailer which actually had a theme song not done in the movie. Well check it out below.

This is Hank Williams Sr. He was the one that really started country music as we knew it it the 50s and 60s. He was one of the first three to be inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame not only for his great singing but his song writing.

Well deserved chastisement so I am repenting and here is another song by the great Mahalia Jackson. This song is from the Bible and this prayer is one Christ taught us.

This is a great one. The song was featured in the 1967 hit movie Bonnie and Clyde. This was on David Letterman and I didn't know Steve Martin could play the banjo. Magnificient!

This is from the great 1961 movie Paris Blues that starred Paul Newman, Joanne Woodward, Sidney Portier, Diahann Carroll and the great Louis Armstrong. In this movie Newman and Portier are jass musicians that make a living playing in Paris jazz nightclubs but Newman is ambitious to go farther. Woodward and Carroll play the love interests of Newman and Portier. Louis Armstrong plays a famous musician that is playing in Paris for a few weeks. He and Newman are great friends. This is a great movie but the main emphasis is on the story and you won't see many of the famous scenes in Paris since this movie takes place mainly in the jazz section of Paris.
Below is the night scene where Armstrong invades where Newman and Portier and their band is playing. This scene is almost six minutes long but you are about to see one of the greatest jazz scenes in the movies. Enjoy!
