Oh, good another poll has us at #1 nothing like having another bulls eye painted on you before ever getting a chance to show what you can do. Sometimes I wish people would stop with the polls and just rank teams at the end of the season.

Yes Gainesville did lose a lot...4 starters to be exact and their coach

GainesvilleHey matthew is there supposed to be any good basketball teams in west texas this year that you know of, Im suprise to see denver city up there, I saw them play last year and they werent that good, and plus they lost the best player on the team, Well i think Greenwood will suprise some people in basketball this year.

watch out for hempstead. theyre straight up tough. they shouldve been at the state tourney last year, but ap just outhustled them. their talent is beyond question. i know they get that 6-10 kid back and he's going D-I. he can play on the outside and he's half a foot taller than most teams' centers. also, i dont know if pittsburg lost anyone, but i know they were real good. undefeated until playoffs. if anyone else knows anything about them, fill me in. also, west oso lost their stud, 6-6 cameron teague. he transferred to 5A c.c. king. from what i've seen, region II should still be far and away the best in the state. don't know much about jasper, though.
