Wow, Somerset won again! They have a nice team, may be able to get past Port A, but probably won't have enough quickness to keep up w/Hempstead.

Kountze 91 Hamshire-Fannett 63 That is a mighty lop-sided score! H-F is not a pushover- they are a premium team. I agree with the Coaches' Poll Kountze is by-far the best 3A in Texas. When they played Nationally ranked 4A Ozen, a close ballgame, that seemed to convince all the critics except for one self-elected pollester for Everman, who sees it Differently.

Not having their star player, Chris Isom do to a torn ACL from last Friday night's game against Sweeny, really hurt Newton last night.

LOL ok Old Card I assume you are referring to me...well I don't think Everman is number one either...BUT I do feel they are better than Kountze...seen Kountze with my own 2 eyes get blasted by a weak Burleson team..that Everman spanked without its football players..but for more proof hopefully Everman can give ya that Friday as they play a Tatum team that a week ago spanked Kounzte...of course there is a good chance that neither Kounzte nor Everman will make it out of their region..with some of the great teams they gotta play...but if Everman losses I'll be here to eat some crow..

No Matt 328, I was not referring to you-but to that other fellow that has that strange poll that touts mostly Region 2 teams....you are kinda like I am, you try to not favor the teams in your region-but its hard not to.
