Just saw that the Panthers have signed former #1 pick and Heisman winner Vinny Testaverde!

It's the first time in NFL history that a team has had two QBs who were taken #1 overall in their draft at the same time.

Wow...44 years old...the Panthers are in trouble if Carr can't produce...

David Carr isn't your normal backup QB... he's not the best starter ever, but he's for sure not the worst backup... so Carolina made out good during the offseason getting him...

oh, I agree, but having to start him isn't easy considering that he doesn't have much experience in the system, not to mention the fact that he got the living daylights beat out of him on a weekly basis in Houston...with Carr starting for the rest of the year now, I think Carolina is taking a step back. Nothing against Carr personally, but it's almost as though he's a rookie all over again.

Leinart out for the year. Cards just signed Tim Rattay. It seems
alot of teams are grabbing QB's off the scrap heap by necessity.:(

I'd definitely call the man responsible for flutie flakes before Jeff George too.. maybe even that Kordell Stewart guy that used to be famous

TTT...Testaverde has just been named starter this week against Indy after coach John Fox and Carr both said this week that they thought Carr would be healthy enough to play...

Poor guy is looking more and more like a total bust...

He's awful - no pocket presence, bad delivery, not a leader, etc. Will go down as a bust, period. This move is not about health, they just want VT to play over Carr.
