Next year sure will be interesting with Jasper and Newton in the same district.

Boy! am glad you Eagles have them (Jasper) in District instead of BC. I was surprised that Coach Barbay wanted to play 3A-with Celina moving up to 3A that left Newton the State Championship in 2A, in my opinion. Best of luck to the Newton Eagles next season.

Barbay had no say so in the matter of if Newton played 2A or 3A, what they turned in on that particular day late last year is the deciding factor, they had no idea where the numbers would fall, I bet next go around, Newton WILL be 2A, and WOS WILL be 3A, as will Silsbee..
