The Avon Old Farms Winged Beavers kind of caught my attention. Of course so did the Hoopeston Cornjerkers, the Western Beaver Golden Beavers, and the Coventry Knotty Oakers.

Sweetwater is within an hours drive from; the Roscoe Plowboys, Trent Gorillas, Rotan Yellowhammers, Hamlin Pied Pipers, and Winters Blizzards. :cool:

That and a dollar will get me a cup of coffee in the cheaper places!:D

that's what I thought too, but if you are crazy enough to have a dot for a mascot, who cares if you can't spell polka....

There was a team I once saw called the Firecrackers.

It was quite unfortunate.

The cheerleaders would chant . . . Go Crackers, Go Crackers, Go Crackers! :D
