We've still got two weeks of football left, and the board is already dying...a couple weeks ago, if I left for an hour and came back, I'd have two pages of topics to read over when I came back...now there's just two or three new posts...where has everybody gone???

Guess that is the problem with having a forum based solely on 3A football.. by now most of the teams are eliminated... I would love to see the site expanded to have a more welcome atmosphere toward other sports. Bacially anything involving our 3A kids.

It says "3A Football Board" but all sports are welcomed...especially once football season is over...even moderators will post about other sports

I can only speak for myself, but in the last few weeks, there seemed to be only threads about Burnet...Them saying how great they are and others saying how they (Burnet) were going to lose..I just got bored with all of the trash talking going on...I don't remember it being this bad last year....I know there wasn't this much talk about Bandera, cuz no one thought we had a chance!

I have talked to some other posters, that used to post on here, but they felt the same as I do....It was "Burnet, Burnet, Burnet" or "Hate Burnet, Hate Burnet, and Hate Burnet".....got old really fast! Sorry , but you asked..... :D

well, tomorrow I head back to Forney for the winter break where I'll be stuck on dialup...I never realized how slow dialup was until I got the super-connection at my school...unfortunately, it has caused me to hate dialup so much, that I probably won't be around too much until Jan. 7...I'll still be here off and on, but not nearly as much as I have been.

i think some of the problem is that the computers are messing up and some people are getting ROMed for no reason and so they can't post....i know this happened to me a couple days back and i was ROMed for about 3 days....maybe people are getting ROMed and they think that they are that way forever and arent trying to post anymore....they might not realize it is a glitch

During the season there were so many people posting that I couldn't get interested. A lot of it was just kids entertaining themselves with drivel and non-football chatter. You had to go back through page after page to find the post you were trying to follow, even if it had just been posted a few hours ago. I gave up on it until the play-offs. By then we were down to the serious fans. Maybe, if we ROMed the folks doing the silly non-football stuff, like just for 2 weeks, they would go to some other board. Then when the season is over, they could post all they wanted to. We post all kinds of stuff not football related during the off season and that's fine with me. But football is the tie that binds these posters together and I like it better when the posts are football related, even if its just silly stuff.
