2001 Aransas Pass Panthers vs. Ingleside Mustangs
2006 Rose Bowl

Last night's game was definitely one of the weirdest I've ever seen. Buffalo had every break go their way and Dallas had everything go wrong and still won...amazing. All I know is, Romo owes Nick Folk and Terrence Newman dinner every night for the next week.

1992 East Regional
Duke over Kentucky

Games four and five of the 2004 ALCS

When Pooch and I played soccar for the Mighty Mites in the YMCA league in Rockwall, we beat the Ardvarks something like 5-4, went down to the wire. It was the best game I ever witnessed and I played in it. I dominated, pooch just watched me take over.

Since this is a high school football website - last years Decatur/Ab. Wylie playoff game. Eeriely similar to last night's game. Wylie down by 8 and scores with less than a minute left. Decatur breaks up the 2 point conversion. Wylie gets the onsides and ends up kicking a field goal with little to no time left to win by 1 (36-35 I think).

GREAT, GREAT game in that no kids made any mistakes to lose it, just great execution on both sides in one hell-of-a-game. My list for #1 HS games.

As a homer I did shed a tear but was glad to have been there.

I have such a terrible memory that I won't answer this question properly.

But the Dallas game last night was definately in the top 10.

Llano vs Giddings in the 98 playoffs was one of the best I have seen.

Giddings vs Newton playoffs in 2002????

A&M vs Kansas State when Sir Parker ran it in to win the game in Overtime and win the division championship.

USC vs. Texas was probably the best game I have ever watched.
eventhough I am more of an aggie fan than a longhorn it was a great game.

If we're sticking to football, I'd have to go with the UT-USC game closely followed by Super Bowl XXXIV (Rams-Titans).

Last year's Region 4 championship between Hondo and Wimberley. After Wimberley whipped Hondo the year before and Hondo trailed 20-0 at the end of the first quarter, things weren't looking too good for the Owls. But that is when the seniors decided they were not going out like that and they started making plays. Hondo led at the half 21-20 and led by 42-20 with a minute gone in the fourth. They then held on for a 42-32 win. Without a doubt the best game I have ever seen.

Two more;

1960 - 2A State Championship (played in San Angelo) Denver City 26- Bellville 21 (Erinie Koy and Joe Ed Lynn vs. the Gravitt Brothers)

1954 - 2A Quarterfinal game (played in Port Arthur) Freer- 28
(my Dad was the coach) vs Nederland- 28 (Bum Phillips was the coach) Freer advanced on penetrations. I took about 45 minutes to determine who won and several fights broke out in the stands
during that time. I was 6 at the time and still remember it very clearly.

For me in no particular order except for the first one which is No. 1

2006 Rose Bowl UT vs USC for the National Championship

1999 World Cup Women's Soccer Game where USA beat China by winning in penalty kicks 5 to 4

1969 UT vs Arkansas football game

Sinton beats GP in football in 2002. Lots of years of frustration lifted off in that game.

Sinton beats Forney for the state championship in baseball in 2002.

Did the soccer game making the list have anything to do with a girl ripping her shirt off at the end??? :D
