Has anybody got a look at Smithville?

just that smithville is 2-3 entering district and 2pts from being 3-2. Played close games in all 5 so far and a couple of plays away from beating columbos and a good halletsville team. got a little speed with the Rb's but o-line needs work. D-fense has been up and down so far. this is not a typical smithville team but this is not a typical district so they will most likely sturgle. Caldwell should beat them handly if they do not overlook them but with a fight wich hasnt been the case in the past

Caldwell will not overlook Smithville. To compete for a championship, you have to take them one at a time. Smithville is much improved, yet has struggled against lesser competition. How do you explain losing to a TAPPS school, 8-7? Caldwell will continue to improve both offensively and defensively. Woe to the team that faces the Hornets when the defensive unit jells like the offensive unit has. Coach Williams will have his boys fired up against the Tigers.

. Smithville hasnt exactly been in the multi-win collum in a wile. Yea they lost that game but everygame they played has been close. They play up to the talent of there oponet. yet other than columbos has not played a very high quality team, but they do compete and thats all you can ask for. for a team thats so young and has such a birght futre confedince is everything and thats all there building to gain this season regardless the win collum that will come in years to come.

Caldwell by a bunch...Smithville barely beat Yoakum 12-7, as they(Dawgs) are in the rebuilding stage...

nothing against Smithville but I would like to see about 70 points scored, if we make the top 10 this week that should hold us there......

I have been impressed with what Smithville has been able to accomplish thus far this year. But with that being said I expect Caldwell to win by 21 points.

I would like to see Caldwell vs. Giddings in a battle of unbeatens.
