I was at Tiger Stadium on Saturday night. I've been going to games for over 30 years and I've never seen or heard it as wild or loud as it was for the Florida game. We've had some great games, but this may have been the best ever, or best since Billy Cannon's famous Holloween run that earned him the Heisman trophy in 1958. I just got back to College Station and I don't know how I'm going to teach in the morning since I have NO voice.

It was the largest crowd, 92910, in the history of Tiger Stadium and the state police estimated the total crowd on campus at over 180,000 people. I know it was the largest traffic jam to get to the game that I've seen that early (I had a parking permit across the street from the stadium) and I saw people going to cars after the game over 2.5 miles from the stadium.

Add that with the homecoming game for Southern University across town (and they were undefeated at 5-0), it was a packed city on Saturday.
