So neck since you like to comment so much on Snyder threads why don't you tell us Dub C's season record instead of just the 2-0 district start.

Honestly they all suck unless your Gilmer, Celina, Liberty Hill, Giddings, or Royse City.

Columbus by 17. Main QB is still out and the main RB is out. Still the Red Birds by 17. The backup players as good as the starters. Hold on to your hat,Columbus wins district hands down.

West Columbia seems to be putting things together at the right time here. They had a pretty brutal pre-district schedule.

I see the district playing out w/ Columbus on top, Needville and Columbia rounding out the other spots.

This week's games:

Needville over Sealy
Columbia will destroy Wharton
Sweeny will beat Stafford
Columbus will beat BR

Carter being out for Columbus is a huge blow. Could be a close one in Royal for the cards. However, I think you are right spotter, the cards will prevail. How much more can this team endure and still be the top dogs. They knocked off two tough ones against Needville and Sealy without the starting QB (who does make big plays) and now they are expected to beat a fast Royal team without the QB and the top rusher in the region. If the Cards can team rally on Friday as they have done the past two weeks, then look out 24-AAA when the QB and tailback do return.
