Put plenty of pressure on the QB and show different looks with the O-Line and the RUNNING SETS....they will take a couple of quarters to figuire out a non spread /running based team ...

Maybe by then the Tigers will have a big enough lead!

Oh yea also, IMO (which you have asked for) it is a LONG way from Sweetwater to Borger!!! They are in the same district as Canyon and we beat em both!!!

That's a pretty crappy thing to say. Snyder was way ahead, isn't that when the less experienced players usually get to play?? I'm sure if the game started getting too close to comfort, those "sorry players" would have been pulled and the starters put back in.

Goes down as a W if you win 60-0 or 3-0. How about those guys that went through two a days, make their grades, hustle at practice, but just aren't talented enough to crack the starting lineup. You're a real fine piece of work dogging on your own teammates.
For every kid that is in the starting lineup and busts his ass during the week, there is a kid that rarely sees the field and deserves playing time in a blowout win.... and those kids bust their ass just as much as the starters.

I don't think Canyon is as good as people are trying to make them! Does anyone know if they are actually any good? It looks like to me that their offense is ok, but their defense is horrible.

Thats how it was last year. They had a soft defense last year, but I haven't heard how good they're defense is this year so I'm not gonna say anything. The one thing I do remember was when the kid from Canyon kneed the kid from Perryton in the open field. Lets hope that there sportsmanship has gotten better

Unfortunately, I think it's the later. Canyon is slow on defense.
Josh Trant was a total non-factor in their game against us. I

Where is this game being Played?

Decatur and Canyon look like the exact same team just
different colors. Offensively, it takes a long time for their plays
to develop. I guess that comes with running the spread. Neither
has a running game. Both defenses are slow. Canyon's punter
had a hard time catching good snaps. That led to two punt blocks
on their first two positons....or was it Decatur???:devil: :D :devil:

I was at the game and saw each and every one shake hands, maybe it was the other way around, you are just trying to start something. Canyon is a class act, and the kid that kneed the kid from Perryton, well he is another story and he is gone THANK GOD!!! I know there are several really good kids from Snyder, have gotten to know them and their families pretty well, unfortunatley you must not be one of them.

Actually, I know SUPERMANN5107 personally, and he is a great young man. I don't remember what happened after the game, I do remember the game itself and how both sides played tough.
I think this game helped build Snyder's confidence. I wish I could make it to Canyon Friday to watch the game, but we aren't going to get to go. I hope Snyder can pull out a victory. If our defense plays all 4 quarters like they did the first quarter against Estacada, I think we will. If we don't play good defense it could be a nail biter....:eek:

Canyon will score points but their defense is suspect. They are 5-1 but have really only played 1 quality team, Sweetwater, and that is the 1 loss. Unfortunately, their schedule doesn't present them enough opportunities to play great competition so they blow other teams out only to lose to the quality teams. This past week, however, was their most solid performance of the year and if they play another 4 quarters, like they did last Fri night, this could really be a great game.

Both Offenses Are Capable Of Putting Up Big Points On Any Given Day. The Key Comes Down To Keeping The Snyder Running Attack Off The Field. I Think Canyon Pulls It Off And Wins It 35-28.

If Canyon has not made alot of adjustments on defense this could be a long night for the Eagles. They had a real problem stopping the Sweetwater Mustangs ground attack and if they don't find a way to stop the Tigers ground game there will be some grounded and tired Eaglesby the end of the night.

If Canyon still throws the ball well it will be tough on the Tigers. The secondary is getting better every game but right now it is the achilles heel for the Tigers along with arm tackling. :mad:

I have come to the conclusion that #8 is NOT who he says he is....which means he is a liar! I didn't believe him anyway, after all I had heard about the REAL #8, and...he was asked some easy questions that the REAL #8 would have known the answers to and he couldn't answer them.

Pmoney is correct. Snydertiger2010 IS NOT the starting tight end for the varsity. As far as having my laptop with me, I do carry it around most of the time, but I was joking in my post. I should not have said that. I look forward to the real Snydertiger2010 (who probalby isn't a Tiger) being caught getting his punishment for being an imposter. Like Pmoney said, the real No. 8 is nothing but class.

Several Snyder posters had their doubts, especially after asking 2010 point blank questions that the REAL #8 would know the answer to, 2010 couldn't answer.

I do believe it is someone from Snyder because he knows too much about the other kids on the team not to be.

I had thought as some had that it might be STR posing as someone else in order to stir the pot, but after talking to him on the phone twice yesterday, I am convinced it isn't.

I'm thinking the situation may have started getting a little too hot for 2010, as that name logged on to the downlow and back off a few minutes later when a fellow poster, who was at the Snyder field, knew for a fact that the REAL #8 was on the field practicing!!

My $.02 on the game.

Canyon is always a dangerous team and I'm betting that they've made adjustments and improvments on the defense since the sweetwater game. I expect them to be stacking the line and also expect the Tigers to have their best passing game of the year. I'm hoping that the Snyder defense BRINGS it this week and is able to put pressure on the QB as well as cover the receivers and make plays on the ball. Being the last game before district, the defense needs a confidence booster. Snyder will score their points - and I think the defense will be ready.
