Everyone gripes about amusment parks, or concessions at sporting events ..But the State Fair of Texas IMO is the biggest rip off

14 dollars per person to get in

10 dollars for parking..

and this gets you...the chance to walk around

Want to ride a ride..still have to pay extra..At least six Flags, you pay one fee to ride rides and walk around..not a price to just walk around..and then pay more for rides

They used to have deals where you could take a canned food one day and get in for free or buy one get one free days...do they not have any promotions like that anymore?

When it is on television you need to see the 1962 movie State Fair with Pat Boone. It is about the Texas State fair.

I would go if I had a star pass or whatever they are called. It lets you get all the free food you want.

Yeah i went to the fair this year and didnt even ride a single ride. it was definitely a rip off...
I am a season pass holder at six flags and i would much rather drive 3 hours to get there then go to the fair again. and it would probably be cheaper... there is my two cents.:)
