What would the world be like if we had competition between all of the State Champions, from little to big schools? That way, we would have an ultimate champion of Texas. Tell me what you think.

5A would take it most every time. Do wish they would trash the division system. It's just crap.....sorry, JMO.

for football, i don't think it would work that well. but maybe for basketball, it would be an idea. kinda like how indiana does it (hoosiers!!!!)

Hoosiers was on HBO this morning..Gotta love that movie! You never know though. Burnet is a great 3A powerhouse and could compete in 4a. And remember when Celina dominated 2A. They are in the playoffs in 3A. What would kill the smaller schools is the lineman size. But then again you look at Wharton and Jasper last year. It makes you wonder?

Ennis could win it

Ennis vs. Brownwood would be a great game to watch. I think Ennis would win but I would like to see Harrell vs. Freeman. Is Freeman a better Qb than Harrell? Kirby is going to Miami and Graham to Texas Tech. Maybe Harrell can break BJ Symons and Kingsburys records?

it would ALWAYS be a 4A or 5A team that won it all!

I agree the 5A teams would win the vast majority of the time. The only 3A team I've seen that would have won was the 83 Daingerfield Tigers. You talk about big, when they came running out of the bathhouse the field tilted. The smallest man of the team was six four and weighted 245 pounds,he was a halfback, run the 40 in 4.4 seconds. They gave up one touchdown in 16 games.

The 4A and 5A teams would dominate...no chance for the lesser classes...

They were like the football team that grew up under power lines.
I personally will take the 2001 Lufkin Panthers, some of the old John Tyler teams, the Converse Judson teams, and the Austin-Westlake's, I don't think that even the Big Sandy teams of the 70's could have won it all against the larger powerhouse schools. JMO
