Complete game shutout from Beckett... at one point he retired 19 straight.

And Youk and Big Papi both take care of business.... Looks like the SOX are beginning the postseason in great form.

Go Yankees!

I'm not a Yankees fan, but my mother has been one since she was young kid back in the 50's so I'll pull for them. Since my A's are sitting at home, due to having what has to be the most injuries in one season in MLB history, I'll go for the Yanks.

The Cy Young has already been decided right? They just don't
award it until after the World Series is over...?

You don't see complete game shutouts in MLB playoffs anymore.
That was a heck of a night on the bump for Beckett.

It'l' be a shame if Beckett doesn't win it.

Outstanding performance by Beckett.

I'm hoping for another BoSox/Yankee matchup . Maybe the Yankees could bring back Don Zimmer for a little on-field fisticuffs?
