It's actually the field I'm going in to. Yeah I can, do I think physicians should be pushing unnecessary drugs on people, no. However people are going to want to take things regardless so I might as well get rich off it in the process.

I can do pharmaceutical sales, but the authorities would at a minimum frown on it. :D

Pharmaceutical sales people are a necessary evil.:devil:

Without them, the doctors offices would not have pens, pen holders, sticky notes, paper for their exam tables, posters, etc:devil:

But the main thing pharm sales peeps are good for is FREE DRUG SAMPLES.

I am a recipient of large quantities of free drug samples. Without them, I would be up poo poo creek without a paddle.:D

So, now when I see a pharm sales peep at my drs office, instead of being annoyed bc it's going to take longer to get seen by the dr, I'm a happy camper.:)

Pharmaceutical Companies are equivalent to Gas Companies. Over charge people for something that doesn't need to be so expensive. We as Americans pay more for our drugs than anyone in the world. There is no need for the price of medication to be so high but we see it as a necessity and purchase them. And to make it worse the government works along the Pharmaceutical companies because they are some of the biggest lobbiest out there. Why do you think certain drugs that cure the same diseases as the high priced drugs we pay for here are deemed "illegal?"

The lady that lives behind me used to be a drug rep for Roche Laboratories...I loved it, she gave me TONS of samples of Tamiflu....we weren't sick for 5 years!!!:D :D :D

they have a big influence some places, especially small town clinics and push over pharmacists

they are good for the samples though

they keep you alive to keep pulling that money for treatment. I know not all ppl are in it for the same reason, but there has to be people who are in this field for the wrong reasons.
