As we all know, the next three months are by far the longest of the year. So how 'bout we make a list of football books to keep us from goin' crazy. My list of favs is:

Play it From the Heart: Neal Morgan(probably the best book Ive ever read...period)

Friday Night Lights: HG Bissinger(as they say in Odessa, it's a great work of fiction, but still entertaining as hell)

The Junction Boys: Jim Dent(a good book to read during 2-a-days to make it not seem so bad)

One Heartbeat: Mack Brown(just a good book to get warmed-up for the season)

Coach of the Century: Gordon Wood(it's alot better if you've actually met him, but even if you havent it's still interesting)
