I hate bein home sick.... i have flu like symptoms right now... and i am sooo tired... but have been resting all day... and to top it off.. im allergic to penicillin.. so i cant just get some of the miracle drug and be better...

I was sick with the "crud" a couple of weeks ago. I have an aunt who is a drug rep, and asked her what I could take, as I am also allergic to Penicillin. She gave me some samples of an antibiotic and I was on the road to recovery in no time. Go see a Dr., there ARE medicines you can take. Hope you get to feeling better soon!

Very true RangerMom. There are several artificial penicillin replacements that are pretty good. Ampicillin, Amoxil and several others. They can also give you sulfa. Definitely go see a Doctor.

So sorry to hear you are ill....my daughter is allergic also to penicillin drugs...but there are alot of others you can take....meanwhile, rest and drink plenty of fluids....do I need to send you some homemade chicken soup??? :)
