how long do yall think it'll take for USC to get whacked? I had thought Oregon might do it....might still...and I've said from the begining of the season Cal might do it...and we all know that AZ State usually gives them a scare....what says yall?

We could have a college football season where no team is undefeated.

Even if that is so, I still see them playing in the NC game

You know, I have more reason to be pissed off about the BCS than anyone. Cost us a national title a few years back.

But at the same time, I like the system. I wouldn't mind having two more teams tacked on and having a two-game playoff at the end of the year, but the BCS is the best way to ensure a good game. It makes sure the best teams are out there instead of one good team and one team who just got lucky and had an easy road through the playoffs. Like, say, Mathis back in 1999.

Granted, sometimes they are blowouts, there just aren't as many as there are in typical playoff formats. I'd much rather see LSU and USC square off than the Spurs and the Cavs.

That Auburn team had 5 people taken in the first round of the draft?

Two in the top five, three in the top ten, and four in the first round. Counting the starters off that team, seven wound up eventually going in the first round and 15 had made an NFL team by the end of this summer's training camps.

Oh, and the first, second, and third-string running backs on that team are starting for NFL squads right now. (Cadillac Williams, Ronnie Brown, Brandon Jacobs-- wound up transferring to Southern Illinois)

Anyone think USF can run the table?

I think they can win out, but will that help there chances of a BCS bowl.....who knows. If Florida wins out and plays in the NC game again im going to be upset.....especially if there is still a couple of undefeated teams in the top 10
