EVERMAN player critical

Everman High School football player Corey Fullbright had surgery on his neck Sunday at Brooks Army Medical Center in San Antonio and remains in critical but stable condition, a hospital spokesman said.
Fullbright suffered a severe fracture in his lower neck in a collision with Burnet running back Patrick Miller during Saturday's Class 3A Division I state championship game at the Alamodome. He lay motionless on the field for 15 minutes and has not regained movement in his arms or legs.
"The surgery stabilized the fracture, but it is too early to give an accurate prognosis," spokesman Mike Dulevitz said.
everman is located on the southern edge of Fort Worth. A trust fund in Fullbright's name has been established at Bank One on Everman Parkway in Fort Worth. Article was writtin by Rick Cantu
