Whitesboro has been slowly building over the last couple of years, but if they garner a playoff spot (more than likely they would have to go 8-2 to do so) they would get my vote
9-3A has two good examples this year
Frisco Wakeland has the potential to be a 10-win team; if so, they should get some looks (as a second year team)
Progreso is the favorite IMO, but if they go 1-4 in district or don't make the playoffs then one of the others could be considered
of course, it is way to early to tell

the columbus cardinals have to be one of the most improved. I believe they are 4-0, and with their win over district pick # 1
needville are off and running in that district. good luck to the cardinals.

FYI, Wakeland was 3-7 and 1-6 last year, so they deserve to be in the running
