Talk about school ties.Vidor coach Jeff Mathews graduated and was a standout offensive tackle from Bridge city and will be looking to avenge a whoopin put on by his old team last year.The pirates appear to be a mmuch improved team and this may be a reallity check for the Cardinals if they aren't focussed on the task at hand.
