Terrible night for the Bulls... every aspect of the game...

Hat's off to Iowa Park. If all it takes to shut down the Bull offense is rush 3 down lineman and play 8 back then it is going to be a long remainder of the season.

That was a horrible game. HORRIBLE. IP looked ready for us. And we looked like we had our heads up our place that isn't our neck for a lot of the time. I hope that this is well-placed wake up call before district starts and not foreshadowing for the rest of the season.

I hope so too... it looked like we were outplayed AND outcoached.

after watchign IP against Wylie I honstly didnt think they would win a game all season. Maybe that spanking and the loss to Childress the next week woke them up. Havent they won 2 in a row now?

I don't know what IP will do in district because it's a darn tough district, but Ellis' teams always seem to start slow. It's pretty clear what the top two spots in the district are. That last spot will be interesting.

I don't know how clear those top two spots are...... Burk, Vernon, and Graham all look good. I don't care if Vernon lost this week to Clyde, that's a good football team. Graham's defense is outstanding, and the Bulldogs have a pretty stout D too.
It will be all out war once 6-3A heats up.

If they were playing 3 down and dropping 8, why didn't the Bulls run more effectively? Usually in the spread you see 5 in the box, you've got 5 on 5 and you run it.
Bridgeport 33 rushes for 100 yards against the Hawks. IP must have been doing something other than dropping back in pass coverage all night.

10 or more of those rushing attempts was our qb running cause no one was open....

Can't seem to give credit where credit is due... Seemed like IP might have had a good defensive scheme. Sounds like the game was never in doubt.

The game was not put away until middle of second half.

And yes, all the credit goes to Iowa Park on this one... outplayed us and outcoached. Now we have to move on and get ready for Decatur.
