From talking with people that were at the game, Sweeny coaches did not give the kids an opportunity to win the game.

Columbia's defense won this game for them. They kept Sweeny bottled up in their own end most of the second half & gave the offense several short fields to work with.
Congradulations on their 1st win on the new rug & Surovik's 1st as a head coach....and against Sweeny makes it even sweeter....

No first downs allowed by Roughneck D in second half, and -1 total yards in the second half for the Dogs

Sweeny QB Zajicek was lights out in the first half, but nothin in the second. He finished 13 of 15 for 150+ yds, but Roughnecks held the Bulldog O to less than nothin in the second half

O total yards in the second half and great field position the whole game( is what won it for WC)


thats how u gotta play to win....

great job to the coaches as well.... cuz they had the boys ready to play and they continue to look much improved every week.....

played much better in the 2nd half..... another improvement from previous weeks
