schedule a worthy opponent? In Sweetwater's case it's cupcake.

Wylie scheduled Wimberely for homecoming this year. It was either them or Frenship tonight (neither choice is a good one). Not much flexibility in the schedule.

usaully a cupcake.... Stockton gots 4-0 Fabens... When I was a senior we went to Monahans and were thier homecoming opponent. We spoiled that night 24-7.

We play Lubbock Cooper for homecoming...
In the past they have played us close...

Last year we played Canyon for homecoming, and I think that was one of the best games I'd seen... both sides never gave up.

Clyde scheduled Burkburnett for their homecoming. I don't know if they r considered a cupcake or a worthy opponent, but they were 4a 2 years ago and Clyde lost to them last year 30-6...
I guess we will find out.

So...not so much a cupcake game, eh?

When I was in high school, WE were the cupcake team. We'd be other teams' homecoming opponents sometimes 6 or 7 games a season. I'll bet I saw more homecoming queens crowned in those 4 years than most people see in a lifetime.
