my brother (and his Yoakum Bulldog wife live there) - says there is a good Mexican food place on 123 right past Wal Mart - I've never been there (he probably just likes the Margaritas lol)

There are several good places right on hwy 123.

The Dragon Place - good Chinese food

Kirby's Corner - mmmm homemade hamburgers

El Ranchito - mexican food, really good

K & G Steakhouse - they have an excellent buffet on friday nights
It is located just N. of I-10.

Chili's - It's on 123 just N. of I-10

There is a fairly new mexican restaurant right across from Wal mart on 123. I haven't tried it yet, but there are always lots of cars parked there!

44inarow, did you ever eat at Solitas on Hwy 46? It was awesome! Sadly, they closed down. Best mexican food and margaritas I ever had. Heavy on the margaritas.:D

I saw where K & G had changed names. I don't know if it changed ownership or what, but the Friday night buffet was awesome!
