Billy Clyde's the man!

Kinda funny though that he bought that big a house. He'll probably sleep in it 3 times from October to the end of March. I'm guessing the couch in his office will wind up being his bed more often than not. That man takes workaholic to a whole other level.

Well, im sorry I should have gone to San Diego to play with LT, I would look a heck of a lot better then I do now. Ill do better Sunday.

A man who used to be the head basketball in Lampasas, Dan Antilley, would be at Kentucky right now with him had he not gotten out of the business several years ago. He and Billy Clyde grew up in Graford together and he was on his staff at Ellison before he got the job in Copperas Cove on Gillispie's recommendation. Gillispie helped make him the youngest head coach in 5A in Texas at the time.

I sure wish Coach Antilley would have stuck with it. It'd have been cool to see him with Gillispie up at Kentucky. He had a family though and he was a workaholic just like Gillispie. He wisely chose his family over basketball.

Coach Antilley told us in high school that Gillispie would wind up as the head coach at a big time division I school and it sure looks like he's done that.
