espn reports that griese pretty much has the starting job wrapped up for the next game.....coach smith said to watch practice on wed. and you will have a better idea at who is starting at certain positions.

players have said Train Wrexs is 2nd string but Head Coach hasn't announced it yet. players seem excited :)

good for them...he's probably a mental upgrade over Grossman for the team.

But my question is, is a guy who's been released from Miami and Tampa Bay really worth getting excited over? When was the last time either of them had a decent QB?

Mr. Smith has said all along that Grossman is their q.b. They want Grossman to be good, but the fact is, he's not. Go with Griese.

Well Ron Rivera called Rex a "mental midget" before they played the opening game against San Diego (his new team). Pretty much questioned why the guy was still starting at QB. Nice to see Lovie has finally figured out what Rivera and the rest of America already knows.
