Well playing gears of war was your first mistake. Come play a real shooter like Rainbow Six Las Vegas.

I think the Campaign mode was fun, but I didn't really like the way they changed the controls around. I kinda wish they were like they were on Halo 2, and it was hard for me to get acclimated with it because I was constantly wondering what weapons I could dual wield and how to reload and stuff. It's going to take some getting used to, but I really enjoyed Halo 2 more at this point.

I am sure you will until you get good at 3. Are you playing on a 360? Do you play online?

I like it so far. I was playing co-op on legendary and it was pretty insane.

Haven't played much multiplayer, but the 4 maps I have played were the 3 beta maps, and the map that is almost an exact replica of that one small halo 2 map except it has some forest growth on it.

One of my buddies down the hall has a 360, I still have the old Xbox. I do play Halo 2 on there still, my gamertag is BBDE. I like playing Rainbow Six Vegas.

the other multiplayer maps are pretty sweet apart from the ones they had in the beta. its just a little difficult figuring out a strategy, weapon placement, etc. the zanzibar remake is pretty cool. the visual performance of the game is incredible, hd looks pretty darn good.

Yeah so I just got my reserved copy I had for Halo 3 and I gte home and my freakin 360 no worky!!!!! IM SO PISSED. I called microsoft and todl them what it was doing and said it is fried and I have to send it in and get repairs done which will take about a month! It just had to happen on this DAY! im tempted just go buy another 360. but talk about bad timing.

haha...well heres what happened to me.....

i loved halo2...but i didnt own an xbox....so yesterday..i went top bestbuy and dropped $820! but see, i got the 360 with the HDMI capability (so it would look great on my LCD HD tv in 1080p) the 360 cost me $350...the game $60, an extra controler with rechargeable batt pack and charge cord lik $65, HDMI cable was $50, rechargeable batt pack w/ chord for the controller that came with my 360 was like $20....the wireless antenna so i could pick up the internet from the router in my roomie's room was $100.....i got the 2 year warranty for the console which was like $50-$60...i feel like im forgetting something...but my total came to $820...but see, i got the whole set-up so i can enjoy the game in high-def

and i played it for about 7-8 hours straight.....DEFINITELY worth it (i am also getting some other awesome games)

well looks like you went all out! I think the only other things I need besides the console and game is the wireless antenna. oh yeah, how much is a new 12 mo. subscription for live? I think I have an old subscription for when I had halo 2 and it should still be valid. Can't I just use that one?
