I read that Lane will not be eligible for postseason play...I've never heard of a trade going down this late in the year, but I know that players acquired after August 31st aren't eligible for the playoffs...but if there's an injury to the team, they're allowed to add players to the roster who wouldn't have been eligible...so if they put Milton Bradley on the DL, then wouldn't Lane become eligible?
