I saw Homer throw in his debut this summer against the Indians in Cincinnati. Good fastball.

he will get a ND in this game. he left leading 5-4 with two outs in the top of the sixth. bullpen blew that. the stros got 5 on him, 2 earned. he only gave up three hits and struck out five. was hitting 93 to 96 on the gun, with 98 mph being the fastest. his breaking ball also looked good. he also had a double and drove in two runs. quite a game for the kid from la grange. he will be a force for the red's next season. good game homer.

it was only two...we only got one hit and walk...my batting average wasn't hurt tremendously...against him, didn't bother me much..he actually nicked my bat my second time up...for the third strike...

I remember the scouts all over at the LaGrange-Bellville games. He has the talent, I am so happy for him.
