dunno...unfortunately, I think that the Holiday Bowl is more prestigious these days than the Cotton Bowl...

Cotton gets Big XII #2, Holiday gets #3 - so if OU wins the Big XII then it just may happen

San Diego or Dallas? hmmmmm

wasn't UT invited to the Cotton Bowl one of the years they went to the Holiday Bowl? Maybe because they had played in the Cotton Bowl the year before?

I don't know what the difference in pay-off is but if it's not much
some teams like to get exposure in another part of the country.

How can the Big 10 (Ohio State & Wisconsin) and the Big Least (West Virginia and Rutgers) both get invited to a BCS bowl? I know Big 10 automatically goes to Rose Bowl, but if Texas, Wisconsin, and Rutgers all had one loss, why would Texas be left out?

cause its the [b]conference champs[b] that automatically get the BCS bids --- if Texas has 1 loss and wins the B12 then they're in, otherwise if they have 1 loss then it would depend on their BCS ranking
