All 30-3A schools lose this week, although most of them to decent teams.............

1. INGLESIDE MUSTANGS (2-1, LW1, lost to PL Calhoun 28-14) Mustnags lose but stay at # 1. Don't see that too often
2. RIO HONDO BOBCATS (4-0,LW3, beat Roma 48-0)RH continues to beat up on opponents all the other 3As would beat up on as well
3. WEST OSO BEARS (3-1, LW2, lost to Flour Bluff 24-6) Bears drop one to the 4A Hornets
4. PORT ISABEL TARPONS (2-2, LW4, beat Valley View 44-0) Tarpons did what they should have done
5. HIDALGO PIRATES (3-1,LW7, beat Falfurrias 53-0) Pirates bounce back from the loss to La Maquina
6. RAYMONDVILLE BEARKATS (3-1, LW8, beat Progreso 27-0) Raytown knocks the Ants from the ranks of the unbeaten
7. MATHIS PIRATES (2-2, LW9, lost to Refugio 27-42) Not too often you lose and move up 2 spots
8. ORANGE GROVE BULLDOGS (2-1, LW 5, lost to Hebbronville 18-7) Bulldogs lose to a average 2A team.............not good
9. PROGRESO RED ANTS (3-1, LW 6, lost to Raymondville 0-27) Red Ants falling in the direction we all expected them to
10.LA FERIA LIONS (3-1, LW 12,beat Santa Rosa 26-0) Lions continue to be a Jekyll-Hyde team
11. ARANSAS PASS PANTHERS (2-2, LW10, lost To Skidmore-Tynan 19-27) You know what I think about losing to 2A schools
12. ZAPATA HAWKS (2-2, LW 11, lost to Crystal City 24-27)Hawks may still be the class of 31-3A
13. LYFORD BULLDOGS (2-2, LW 13 Monterrey Poly-Tech 41-30) Unimpressive win over a Mexico team
14. SAN DIEGO VAQUEROS (1-3, LW 15, lost to Odem 7-6) Vaqueros lose but continue to be competitive
15. SINTON PIRATES (0-3, LW 14, lost to Beeville 6-50) Pirates end the meat grinder this week vs. Robstown
16. FALFURRIAS JERSEYS (1-3, LW 16, lost to Hidalgo 0-53) When does baseball season begin???????

Well heck, it didn't bother you when Mathis lost to Refugio. ;)

That's okay, hopefully our starting QB will be suiting back out soon and we can move back up a spot or two on the list.

S-T Bobcats were pretty good....actually all of 31-2A will be interesting to follow each week...they still have four teams that are 4 and 0.
