Giddings vs. 4A Midway

Giddings come off a big win over Hutto but takes on a much improved 4A Midway team that took down 5A Round Rock 21-17 last friday...

Our defense stacks up much better against the spread than the smashmouth so we have a decent advantage there...

I don't know much about Midway either, but my cousin coaches at Gidding, so I'll go with Giddings. :D

I'm gonna go with Midway. Mainly because Round Rock is a really good football team. Don't know what happened to them last Friday,they made the playoffs last hear in 5A. It was a shock to me that they got beat!!!

This will be a much tougher match up than last year from what it looks like. I would also thing that midway has a little revenge on their mind. Atleast it is at home, looking forward to another entertaining match up.

Also, Midway is not 4-0. They are 3-1. These were beat in week 0 by then #2 Stephenville 41-7. So they just have the one quality win over Round Rock.

This is going to be a much tougher game than last year and Midway is going to want revenge for stomping them on their home coming last year.

Giddings by at least 2 TD's. Giddings offense is cooking on all burners and Midway does not have enough "hosses" to stop them.

I think anytime you step up to play the next class of schools (in this case 4a) you are in for a battle.

I still think that Giddings can pull it out.

No. Ended at 4-6 overall, 2-3 District.

Midway handled Vista Ridge fairly easily first game of the season, but that's not saying much. I think Giddings wins easily.
