this is how wack polls are
texas starts the year 4
wins all 4 games
but DROPS to 7
its just bs perception
I agree texas aint that high
but there should be a rule if you win you cant drop
thats just wack
all that does it tell people
beat anyone as bad as u can

polls are crap
and its not just texas its others too
thats why the bcs is wack
and it costs you money
you drop from 4 you aint gonna be in the BCS championship
they didnt want Boise State last year because of money

ND will be ranked somewhere
no matter how bad they are

SC will be too

polls are wack
at least hs has a playoff
polls dont matter
playing in December does

no, waht they should do is do away w/ preseason polls and not put one out until 4 weeks in or so...that way they wouldnt put teams at an unfair advantage starting in the top 10 versus those who are not in the top 10....

No BCS. Top 16 play playoff, the rest should be bowl games.

I agree to an extent, but how can you tell if your a top 16 team or not? Other peoples opinions? What heppens when your the #17 team based on peoples opinions....that would suck. I do think how ever there has got to be a better system, D2 has a playoff system, why cant D1 schools.....its all about the $$$

Ya but if your 17 then it means you have lost, take care of business and you stay top 16, and then the rest are bowl games so you wouldn't be losin any money that you would have been getting in this system, and make the first and second round games in the playoffs at different places therefore you take care of those bowls, then have the semi finals and finals at the four bcs bowls, orange, sugar, fiesta and rose

Ya i know, im not saying there isn't loopholes. But granted it would be at the end of the year, i have a hard time beleiving Mizzou will be undefeated at the end of the year, and Hawaii might but they schedule idaho state tech a and m.

Yeah, but lets just say Mizzou loses in the big 12 championship, and Hawaii finishes undefeated, how fair is that to say they are not top 16 material?

I think they should redo all the conferences, I don't care if you have to get rid of some conferences, as long as it gets things settled in the bigger scheme of things....just combine everybody by regions and let them fight it out until they win there conferences championship game then they get there bid to the tourney

That would work, Hawaii will be top 16 if they finish undefeated, but if they want to compete at the top, they have to schedule the top. And you wouldn't have to reschedule conferences just work the better non bcs confrence schools into the bcs conferences.

And for the ones that feel left out of those conferences, every ncaa div 1 school has the option to change conferences.

that wouldn't be fair at all... but it's a lot closer to being fair than what we've got now...

I say we could pick at ideas... I like the deal about not having rankings until the 4th week of the season...

I'd also use 17 teams... kinda like college basketball and the 65 team format... I don't think they're ready to adopt a 32 team format, so 17 would get as many teams in as possible...

nothings gunna be fair in this I don't believe... but it'd be a lot more fair if we TRIED to make this better...

A&M was overrated at 20. Now they are overrated at 29. I am an Aggie but I am also a realist. Top 40 maybe, but not top 30. I would hate to play Appalachian State.
